About the Role

We’re looking for a Fractional Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to architect and lead the next evolution of Yieldschool’s non-custodial asset management systems.

You’ll design and scale secure infrastructure for portfolio execution, wallet connectivity, and cross-chain integration, building the backbone of how clients interact with the on-chain economy.

Our current stack is functional and externally audited but needs a complete rebuild to achieve institutional-grade scalability and reliability. This is a hands-on builder’s role where you’ll refine what exists, implement modern standards, and shape a world-class engineering foundation.

What You’ll Do

Deliver secure, scalable on-chain infrastructure supporting $10M+ monthly throughput

Architect systems that achieve 99.99% uptime and institutional-grade reliability

Lead architecture for Solidity and Rust codebases (both required)

Implement DevOps, audit, and compliance frameworks for high-trust execution

Build repeatable security and penetration-testing processes

Partner with leadership to shape the long-term technical roadmap and product vision

What You Bring

4+ years in software or systems engineering, including 3+ years in technical leadership

Solidity (required) and Rust (required) development experience

Proven track record building and scaling blockchain or cloud-native systems

Deep understanding of wallet infrastructure, smart-contract security, and cross-chain protocols

Mastery of infrastructure automation, DevOps, and secure deployment practices

Crypto-native mindset with uncompromising rigor around reliability and auditability
