Interim Warehouse Ops Coordinator - Reserve Stock - Northern Cal Distribution Center

Operations Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting the flow and

optimization of a department or process within the fulfillment or distribution

center. This role will support an Operations Manager to assist with start of

shift equipment and team member readiness, monitor productivity and other

metrics throughout the day, lead safety and other operational/program tasks, end

of shift duties, and support process and flow related opportunities as they

arise. A day in the life… Support the department in achieving business results

for overall safety, quality and performance, while driving efficiency, flow, and

problem-resolution. Assist team members by creating daily assignments and

project actions, and moving or reassigning team members throughout the day, to

ensure expedites or other business priorities are met. Communicate department

results to team members and inform the operations managers of hourly goals and

progress. Complete safety observations and model safe behavior and judgement.

Communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with other support teams such as

safety, facilities, ICQA, and training to meet the needs of the business.

Complete daily work tasks and trackers to promote a strong hand-off between

shifts and provide feedback and observations to Operations Managers and other

building leaders. Assist with leading start of shift meetings, updating

communication boards, support end of shift duties, and actively listening to

team members. You own this if you have… 1+ years of warehouse experience in a

fulfillment or distribution center Well-developed and proven time management

skills and the ability to prioritize Deep understanding of multiple warehouse

departments, processes, and programs, and can speak to the flow of a warehouse

Maintain a sense of urgency and follow-through Strong proficiency in technical

systems including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and WM (i.e. Manhattan,

Fishbowl, NetSuite) Excellent customer service and team player attitudes Strong
