Fractional Operations Manager at Minneapolis Regional Chamber

Company Description The Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce, one of the oldest and largest chambers in the state, serves as the leading advocate for enhancing the regional economy and quality of life. The Chamber unites individuals and organizations to address critical issues like workforce development, public safety, transportation, and housing.
By providing a unified voice, the organization represents the region's priorities to decision-makers and fosters initiatives that enhance economic competitiveness and community well-being. Role Description The primary focus of this position is to provide administrative support and operational capacity for the Minneapolis Regional Chamber.
In addition to supporting the President and CEO, this position is responsible for the day-to-day operations to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and optimization. This position reports to the President and CEO of the Minneapolis Regional Chamber.
This individual will also work closely with other members of the chamber team.
Position Responsibilities Schedule internal and external meetings as needed on behalf of the CEO Provide additional meeting support associated with scheduling including virtual meeting technology, reservations, and conference room coordination Manage Board of Director communications, rosters and meeting schedules Coordinate and attend Board of Director and Executive Committee meetings, record and transcribe meeting minutes and distribute additional materials as needed Support internal and external meetings and work sessions hosted in the Chamber office Complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks as directed by the fractional Chief Financial Officer Reconcile credit cards and manage expense reports for senior leadership Support employee onboarding and staff transitions in coordination with PEO human resources team Manage relationships with various vendors and service providers Serve as the relationship lead with IT/Phone/Internet vendors when system maintenance is required Work directly with building maintenance staff, building management and security as needed Manage office inventory of mailing, shipping, office supplies and equipment Answer and direct incoming phone calls as needed Coordinate all public filings and reports with President & CEO Daily Processing of Certificates of Origin Daily deposit of membership checks Manage season ticket sales to membership Provide support to the Programming and Events team as requested
Knowledge and Qualifications Well organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Professional presence and strong interpersonal skills Ability to adapt and thrive in an ever-changing/fast-paced environment Takes initiative and works independently with minimal oversight Applies good judgment when resolving problems Possesses strong written and verbal communications skills Experience working in and managing databases Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures Experience with bookkeeping preferred
Proficiencies Microsoft Office Suite QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Compensation is annual prorated salary range of $34K based on 20 hours a week, plus benefits.
