Backed by top-tier VCs and executives from Stripe, Plaid, and OpenAI, we’re just getting started. About the Role Stacks is hiring an Interim Recruiter to own and scale our recruitment engine across Product, Engineering, and GTM as we enter a period of explosive growth.
You’ll be the driving force behind building our team, mapping the top talent in the market, designing scalable processes, and managing high-velocity hiring internally as an IC. If you thrive in hypergrowth environments, love building structure from scratch, and want to directly shape the talent foundation of a category-defining startup, this is the role for you. 🧱 What You'll Do Interim Recruiter • Own full-cycle recruiting across Product, Engineering, and GTM during a period of hypergrowth • Build and manage predictable pipelines for critical roles • Map the highest-caliber candidates across Europe and beyond • Lead hiring strategy for each function in partnership with Founders and Leadership Build Structure & Scale • Design, refine, and operationalize scalable recruiting processes, tools, and frameworks • Establish hiring best practices and interview structures • Implement data-driven talent acquisition KPIs Drive High-Impact Hiring • Execute high-volume recruitment as an individual contributor • Partner closely with functional leaders to understand hiring needs and team evolution • Represent Stacks in the market as the face of talent Talent Intelligence & Market Mapping • Build talent maps for future leadership roles and long-term hiring needs • Maintain a proactive pipeline of top candidates across all key functions • Keep a pulse on competitive talent markets, compensation, and hiring trends 🧩 What You Need • Proven experience as a Senior Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Lead in a fast-growing tech company • Deep hands-on IC experience — you excel at execution, not just leadership • Track record of hiring during hypergrowth/hyperscaling (0→50, 50→150, or similar) • Experience building recruiting processes, structure, and guidelines from the ground up • Ability to context-switch across Engineering, Product, and GTM roles • Strong talent mapping and sourcing capabilities • Clear communicator who can influence and collaborate across all levels • Metrics-driven mindset with a high bar for candidate quality • Entrepreneurial, scrappy, and energized by fast-paced environments 🚀 What’s in It for You • Founding recruiting role with huge ownership • Work directly with founders and early leadership • Opportunity to shape the talent foundation of a category-defining startup • Collaborate with world-class colleagues from Uber, Plaid, Miro, and Mollie • Be part of the AI transformation in finance • Competitive compensation & meaningful equity • A stunning canal-view office in the heart of Amsterdam 🤝 The Hiring Process Step 1: 30-minute call with our Talent Partner (Peter) to discuss background & motivation Step 2: Interviews with Founder (Albert) and functional leads Step 3: Practical assignment + on-site panel at our Amsterdam HQ Step 4: Offer!
