03The Role

Develop and evolve our Mat and Reformer Pilates programmes, ensuring an exceptional member experience.

Support club teams and Product Managers in delivering consistent, high-quality Pilates classes.

Drive participation, occupancy and member engagement through data, app ratings and feedback.

Lead Pilates events, workshops, product launches and digital initiatives.

Collaborate with internal teams and the Global Pilates team to introduce innovative ideas and improve our offering.

Lead instructor recruitment, onboarding, training and development, building a talented and engaged Pilates community.

Conduct regular club visits, completing at least five audits and instructor assessments each month.

Build relationships with industry leaders and stay ahead of trends to strengthen Virgin Active’s position in Pilates.

04Who We’re Looking For

Level 3 Mat Pilates qualification with a Reformer Pilates specialism, accredited by a recognised UK certification programme.

At least five years Pilates teaching experience, particularly in group instruction.

Proven experience developing successful Pilates programmes and maintaining high coaching standards.

Strong leadership skills, with experience training, mentoring and developing instructors.

A data-driven, commercially minded approach to improving participation, performance and member experience.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a passion for innovation and delivering world-class experiences.

Flexibility to work across our Support Office and clubs at least three days per week, with UK travel and occasional weekend working as required.
