The extras you’ll get
As a Senior Treasury Analyst, you'll be part of a team responsible for
developing, maintaining and reporting on a diverse suite of models that support
key Treasury decisions across Capital, Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk in the
Banking Book (IRRBB). Because we both build and monitor our own models, you'll
gain hands-on experience across the full model lifecycle, from design and
development through to implementation, performance monitoring, stakeholder
engagement and model governance.
You'll work on models that sit at the heart of Treasury decision-making and
support some of the Society's most important financial risk and balance sheet
management activities. The breadth of modelling across Treasury provides
exposure to a wide range of business challenges and offers an excellent
opportunity to develop deep expertise in an area that is critical to
Nationwide's long-term financial strength.
We welcome applications from individuals with either a modelling or Treasury
background. For those with strong analytical and coding experience, this is a
great opportunity to develop specialist Treasury expertise. Equally, those with
Treasury knowledge can broaden their modelling and programming capabilities
while working on business-critical models in a highly technical environment.
You'll bring a strong analytical mindset, experience working with data, and
coding skills, preferably in SAS. Most importantly, you'll be eager to learn,
enjoy solving complex problems, and be motivated to continually develop your
skills and expertise.
We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your
best.
The working hours (per week) for this role can be between 28 and 35 hours.
This is an 18-month secondment opportunity.
At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding
relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues
together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to
home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and
to feel connected.
For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll
spend 40% of your working time, based at our London office. If your application
is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this
works. You can also find out more about our approach to hybrid working here

application.
