Mission: Turn technology into a competitive advantage for Kinect Solar, helping our team work smarter, giving customers better service and visibility, and enabling us to scale and increase enterprise value.

During an initial 90-day engagement, you will assess our people, processes, systems, and AI opportunities and begin targeted fixes. As the technology executive reporting to the CFO and working closely with the CEO and operations leaders, you will own the overall plan, team direction, provider oversight, and results. You will build solutions where useful and delegate to internal staff and outside experts, building on work already underway.

LEADING AND DELIVERING

  • Serve as the technology executive accountable for priorities, team direction, providers, and delivery. Work directly in NetSuite, HubSpot, and AI tools when it helps assess problems, test ideas, or deliver targeted fixes. Delegate implementation and specialist work appropriately, and ensure staff can use and support the results.
  • Choose what to buy, adjust, connect, or build based on business value and ongoing cost. Manage providers with clear work plans, assigned people, deadlines, quality checks, and support commitments. Disclose financial ties to any provider you recommend.

INITIAL 30-DAY OUTCOMES

  • Agree on the technology plan, who makes decisions, staffing, budget, and success measures. Review existing requirements and work before adding new projects.
  • Decide whether to improve the current CRM or replace it, and define the budget, owners, and timeline.
  • Put workflow pilots into daily use, such as call screening or RFQ intake. Compare time spent before and after, calculate hours saved, check accuracy, and collect staff feedback. Include human review where needed.
  • Review and assess existing Kinect Intelligence work and progress on the WHRFQ project.
  • Complete a team skills and workload assessment. Identify roles where training, hiring, or outside support would have the greatest impact. Present a staffing plan with costs, owners, and dates, and begin the approved actions.

INITIAL 90-DAY SCORECARD

  • Begin the agreed fixes and deliver tested improvements within the approved scope. Address how customer records are shared and duplicates are prevented. Agree record-ownership rules with sales leaders, train affected users, and report system use and data accuracy against agreed targets.
  • Agree on the scope of the first Kinect Intelligence release for warehouse quote requests (RFQs), forecasting, and handoff to operations. Select delivery support, define quality checks, and demonstrate a working improvement against the approved schedule.
  • Agree with business owners how CRM use, RFQ progress, and pricing handoffs will be tracked. Start moving the selected RFQ steps from scattered emails and spreadsheets into a shared workflow, with clear owners and exceptions tracked.
  • Recommend the next stage of work, including costs, owners, and timing, for leadership to approve. Address customer access to project information and the systems, records, and support arrangements needed for a future buyer’s review and handover.
  • Throughout: Lead a weekly steering meeting with the board and key executives. Maintain a simple scoreboard showing results, spending, milestones, risks, and decisions needed. Record actions and owners, and address delays and issues early.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience as a Head of Technology or equivalent leader, with personal responsibility for improving business systems and delivering measurable results.
  • Proven results improving CRM use, connecting business systems, and reducing manual work with a lean team and limited budget.
  • Experience putting AI into daily work, measuring accuracy and time saved, protecting data, training staff, and helping people adapt.
  • Hands-on experience improving NetSuite, HubSpot, and AI tools, alongside executive responsibility for business systems and teams. Ability to build when useful, assess completed work, and assign the right specialists without becoming the sole implementer.
  • Understanding of daily operations, forecasts, profit margins, and financial checks; ability to work well with finance, sales, and operations.
  • Sound technical judgment, clear communication with leaders, and experience developing staff and managing outside specialists.

BONUS POINTS

  • Experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution, supply chains, or solar; experience managing remote or Latin America-based specialists.
  • Experience preparing systems for a buyer’s review, handing them to new owners, or combining systems after an acquisition.

ENGAGEMENT AND COMPENSATION

Proposed commitment: approximately three days per week during an initial 90-day engagement, with fees and review checkpoints to be agreed. Any continuation will be agreed separately after reviewing results and business needs. Remote with occasional travel. After initial scoping, act within agreed budgets and decision limits without case-by-case approval.
