  • YearsExperience 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, account management, business development, or a related commercial role.

The Enterprise Growth Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing expansion opportunities within april’s existing enterprise partnerships. This role will work closely with our Customer Success team to uncover opportunities to grow existing relationships through additional products, use cases, business lines, and expanded partnerships.

The ideal candidate brings experience in enterprise account management, sales, or a related commercial function and has a strong track record of working with large, complex organizations. Experience selling into major financial institutions, including large banks, wealth management organizations, and Wirehouses, is highly valuable.

This role requires someone who is comfortable owning a quota and taking a proactive, commercial approach to growth. While opportunities will primarily originate from existing customer relationships and warm introductions, this person must be comfortable hunting for opportunities, building internal relationships across complex organizations, navigating multiple stakeholders, and taking expansion opportunities from initial discovery through negotiation and close. Experience working in a high-growth startup environment is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Own the identification, development, and execution of expansion opportunities across april’s existing enterprise customer base.

Partner closely with Customer Success Managers to identify opportunities to grow existing relationships through cross-sell, upsell, new use cases, and expansion into additional business lines or teams.

Take qualified expansion opportunities from initial discovery through proposal development, negotiation, and close.

Develop a deep understanding of each customer’s organizational structure, strategic priorities, business model, and decision-making process.

Identify and develop new internal relationships within existing accounts to uncover opportunities beyond april’s current footprint.

Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and provide regular forecasting on expansion opportunities and expected revenue.

Identify customer needs, challenges, and strategic priorities that may create opportunities for additional products, services, or expanded partnerships.

Bring customer insights and market feedback back to internal teams to help inform product strategy, commercial strategy, and future growth opportunities.

Help develop repeatable approaches and playbooks for identifying and closing expansion opportunities across enterprise customers.

Experience

10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, account management, business development, or a related commercial role.

Demonstrated success growing and expanding existing enterprise customer relationships through cross-sell, upsell, and strategic account development.

Experience owning and achieving against a revenue, bookings, or expansion quota.

Significant experience selling into large, complex enterprise organizations, ideally major financial institutions such as large banks.

Experience selling into wealth management organizations, Wirehouses, or other financial services platforms is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of how to navigate complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, business units, and decision-makers.

Comfortable taking a proactive “hunter” mentality to identifying opportunities, even when working from existing relationships and warm introductions.

Proven ability to build credibility and relationships with senior executives and decision-makers.

Strong commercial judgment, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Experience working in a high-growth startup or similarly fast-paced environment is a plus
