Job Summary
We are hiring an Analyst, Strategic Finance - Office of the CFO to join our finance team. You will learn how a growing software company plans, measures and funds its growth, and you will do real work from week one: building models, preparing reports leaders actually use, and answering the question behind the numbers.
This role is designed for someone early in their career. We will invest in your training through structured mentorship, hands-on projects and exposure to senior leaders. In return, we're looking for curiosity, rigor and a genuine interest in how businesses make decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Financial modeling: Build and maintain models for revenue, expenses, headcount and scenario planning, starting from existing templates and growing to building your own.
Budgeting and forecasting: Support the annual budget and recurring forecast cycles by collecting inputs from department leaders and keeping the numbers accurate and current.
Month-end and variance analysis: Compare actual results to plan each month, explain what drove the differences and flag trends early.
SaaS and business metrics: Track and report on key metrics such as recurring revenue, customer retention, gross margin, and dealer-level performance.
Reporting and dashboards: Prepare clear reports and presentation materials for leadership, and help improve dashboards so information is faster and easier to use.
Strategic projects: Contribute research and analysis to projects like pricing, new product or market evaluation, vendor and investment decisions, and operational efficiency.
Cross-functional partnership: Work with Sales, Product, Operations and People teams to understand what drives their numbers and turn questions into analysis.
Process improvement: Find manual steps in finance workflows and help automate or simplify them, including with spreadsheet tools, BI tools and AI.
Partner closely with the Human Resources team and the Commercial team to assist as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business Analytics or a related quantitative field (recent graduates and graduating seniors encouraged to apply)
1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting or analytics; internships, co-ops and relevant coursework count
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including formulas, lookups and pivot tables
Solid grasp of core accounting concepts: the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow
You Have
- Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain numbers to people who aren't in finance
- High attention to detail and the habit of checking your own work
- Internship experience in FP&A, M&A, capital markets, corporate finance, banking, consulting or a tech company
- Familiarity with financial modeling coursework or case competitions
- Comfort using AI tools to speed up research and analysis
- Pay: $55,000 - $70,000 base salary + an annual target bonus
- Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Matching 401k
