Job Description At foodora, we move fast — and so do our people processes. Our People Operations team keeps everything running behind the scenes: payroll, data, compliance, HR tickets and all the details that make work feel effortless for everyone else.

Now we’re looking for an Interim People Operations Manager to keep that machine running smoothly for 15 months. You’ll guide and support our People Operations team in Sweden, making sure we deliver high-quality service every single time.

From looking into day-to-day operations and fine-tuning our reporting, to leading and supporting projects — you’ll be at the center of our People Ops engine. Your mission Lead a team of People operations specialists Supervise HR and payroll service delivery and ensure consistent quality Review KPIs, SLAs, and reports to monitor and improve performance Act as the point of contact for payroll Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports Lead or support People Operations projects in Sweden and across the region Collaborate closely with Finance, People Partners, and business stakeholders We’re looking for a true foodorian — someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in driving things forward. To succeed in this role, you’ll need a strong sense of ownership, a sharp analytical mindset, and the confidence to take initiative when something can be improved.

You enjoy turning complexity into clarity, spotting patterns in data, and translating insights into action. You’re organized, detail-oriented, and not afraid to challenge existing processes if there’s a better way to do things.

Start date: ASAP Qualifications Solid experience in HR or Payroll operations, ideally in a high-volume or matrix environment Experience supervising or coordinating a team (direct or indirect) Strong knowledge of Swedish payroll, employment legislation, and taxation Analytical mindset with a love for both data and detail Confidence navigating KPIs, SLAs, and ticketing systems Excellent communication skills in English A calm, structured, and proactive approach — especially when things get busy Studies have shown that women and some minorities are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every qualification.
