Servicom (11–50 staff, telecoms/critical comms) is hiring a Fractional Compliance, Quality & H&S Officer to own ISO 9001/14001/45001 accreditation, drive 27001, manage H&S/RAMS/incident investigation, and handle MoD/regulated-site vetting. The posting explicitly signals fractional engagement and is genuinely employer-direct. No rate or days stated, but scope is defined and senior-level (accreditation owner, regulatory point of contact, CAPA lead).

The balanced verdict

Why this role stands out
  • Clearly fractional/part-time by design; ideal for experienced QHSE professional building a portfolio
  • Specific technical scope (ISO suite, RAMS, CDM, RIDDOR, MoD vetting) signals genuine work, not admin padding
  • Small company size means direct access to leadership and visible impact on compliance posture
  • MoD/defence site exposure is valuable and defensible in regulated sectors
Worth checking before you apply
  • No explicit days/week or day rate; must negotiate terms directly with Servicom
  • Role carries regulatory/incident accountability and potential vicarious liability (e.g. RIDDOR investigation outcomes); ensure insurance and scope clarity before commitment
  • Seniority metadata says 'Entry level'a data error; ignore it and rely on description (accreditation owner, audit lead, regulatory contact are senior responsibilities)
Fractional-fit score
92/100
