Machu Group gives complex care providers on-demand access to senior clinical expertise on a pay-as-you-go basis, without the cost and overhead of permanent recruitment.

We are building our associate network across Shropshire and Cheshire, and would like to hear from experienced case managers, clinical leads and senior nurses who want high-quality clinical work on their own terms. Work is matched locally, so you are covering Shrewsbury, Telford, Chester, Crewe and the surrounding areas rather than travelling the length of the country.

The work falls into two strands.

👩🏾 ⚕️Clinical Services 🏥

Assignments priced and instructed individually.

• Face-to-face visits with clients in their own home, placement or care setting
• Evidence-based clinical needs assessments
• Person-centred care plans and clinically informed risk assessments
• Writing the training need for each package
• Delivering shadowing, practical training and competency sign-off
• Clinical interviews and vetting of nurses and care staff

⏰ Fractional Clinical Lead

Ongoing clinical accountability for a live package, around your other commitments.

• An agreed number of oversight and contact hours per week
• Named point of clinical accountability for the life of the package
• Keeping care plans, risk assessments and competency records current
• Guiding the care team and liaising with the individual, their family, the provider and the wider MDT

Paid on agreed weekly contact hours, plus a standing monthly charge for inbox monitoring, so the time you spend being available is properly recognised.

Both, one, or the other

We are equally happy to speak with clinicians who want to pick up both strands and with those who only want one. Some associates prefer assessment and documentation work they can plan around a full-time role. Others want the ongoing relationship of a fractional lead post. Both are valuable to us.

👀 What we are looking for 🔭

• Registered Nurse (NMC) or registered AHP (HCPC), Band 6 as a minimum, Band 7 or 8 preferred for fractional work
• Demonstrable complex care experience, for example tracheostomy and ventilation, spinal injury, acquired brain injury, enteral feeding, seizure management or positive behaviour support
• Confident writing to the standard regulators and commissioners expect
• Able to work self-employed, with professional indemnity insurance, a full UK driving licence and a current enhanced DBS
