Position Summary

At The Joint Chiropractic, our corporate team is central to supporting franchise success, enabling exceptional patient experiences across our network, and driving sustainable business growth. Now that we operate as a pure franchisor, we're seeking a Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) who can translate business strategy into impactful people solutions while fostering a lean, high-trust, high-performance, values-driven culture.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the CHRO serves as a strategic business partner to executive leadership and leads all aspects of the Human Resources function for the Company's corporate team, including talent strategy, organizational development, talent acquisition, total rewards, employee relations, HR operations, compliance, and learning and development. This executive will play a critical role in strengthening organizational capability, developing leaders, and ensuring the Company has the talent, culture, and infrastructure needed to achieve its long-term objectives.

The ideal candidate brings broad Human Resources leadership experience, strong business acumen, and a passion for building organizations where people and performance thrive together. They are equally comfortable shaping strategy and driving execution, using data and insights to inform decisions, improve organizational effectiveness, and deliver meaningful business results.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to develop and execute people strategies that support the Company's strategic priorities, operational goals, and long-term growth.

Provide executive leadership across all areas of Human Resources, including talent acquisition, organizational development, performance management, total rewards, employee relations, compliance, HR operations, and learning and development.

Lead organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and change management initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness and position the business for continued growth, communicating change with clarity and care.

Build and cultivate a high-performance, inclusive culture where employees feel safe speaking up, by implementing effective performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, recognition, and retention strategies.

Coach and develop leaders at all levels of the organization, strengthening leadership capability, talent development, and team effectiveness.

Serve as a trusted, confidential coach and sounding board to the CEO and executive team, providing candid feedback on leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, and sensitive people matters.

Lead talent acquisition strategies that proactively address workforce needs, attract top talent, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

Oversee compensation, benefits, wellness, and recognition programs that support employee engagement while aligning with business objectives and financial goals.

Leverage workforce analytics, organizational metrics, and employee insights to evaluate effectiveness, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.

Lead responsible, practical adoption of AI and HR technology to improve the employee experience and HR efficiency, in partnership with IT, Legal, and Information Security.

Ensure HR operations are efficient, scalable, and compliant with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, while maintaining strong governance and risk management practices.

Partner with Finance and executive leadership on workforce planning, budgeting, and human capital investments to support organizational performance.

Support the Board of Directors and Compensation Committee through executive compensation planning, talent discussions, governance activities, and strategic human capital initiatives.

Champion franchisee success by developing optional HR resources, training, and tools that franchise owners may choose to use to attract, develop, and retain their own teams, while respecting franchisees' independent control over their employment decisions.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Human Resources team that serves as a trusted, collaborative partner across the organization, and where raising problems early is expected and welcomed.

Experience in a franchisor environment is strongly preferred; multi-site consumer services or multi- site retail type experience desirable; building HR resources and tools that franchise owners choose to adopt; and understanding joint-employer considerations.

Broad Human Resources generalist experience with demonstrated success leading talent management, organizational development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, talent acquisition, and HR operations.
