ABOUT PRECISION
Precision Imaging Centers provides outpatient diagnostic imaging with a focus on advanced technology, clinical quality, and a welcoming patient experience. With established roots in Northeast Florida and a growing presence in Orlando, we partner with healthcare providers to make high-quality imaging more accessible.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a relationship-focused Business Development Manager to grow our Orlando referral network. Working with the Director of Growth, you will introduce Precision to local practices, strengthen existing relationships, and turn outreach into measurable growth. Success in this role comes from an approachable communication style, enthusiasm for connecting with others, and the initiative to pursue opportunities and follow through.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop the territory. Partner with the Director of Growth to create and execute an Orlando business development plan, prioritize target practices, and meet agreed-upon growth goals.
Build referral relationships. Connect with physicians, practice managers, referral coordinators, and other healthcare professionals through regular visits, calls, presentations, and timely follow-up.
Create new opportunities. Proactively identify prospective partners, initiate conversations, and communicate how Precision’s services support providers and patients.
Support existing partners. Understand practice needs, respond to questions, and coordinate with scheduling, operations, and clinical teams to address service concerns.
Represent Precision. Deliver clear, accurate service presentations and participate in relevant community events, networking opportunities, and provider meetings.
Track activity and results. Maintain accurate outreach and relationship records, monitor referral trends and key performance indicators, and share updates and recommendations with leadership.
Stay informed. Learn Precision’s imaging services, monitor local market developments, and use feedback to improve outreach and the referring provider experience.
Work responsibly. Protect confidential information and follow company policies and applicable requirements for healthcare outreach and referral relationships.
QUALITIES THAT SUPPORT SUCCESS
Warm and approachable. Build rapport with people across different roles and backgrounds; listen attentively and communicate with professionalism and respect.
Enthusiastic and engaged. Bring a positive, attentive approach to practice visits, presentations, and relationship building.
Proactive and resourceful. Take initiative, identify next steps, and pursue new opportunities without waiting for detailed direction.
Persistent and dependable. Respond constructively to setbacks, follow up consistently, and carry commitments through to completion.
Organized and accountable. Manage a territory, prioritize outreach, maintain accurate records, and take ownership of results.
Collaborative and adaptable. Welcome feedback, adjust to changing priorities, and work effectively with colleagues to solve problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
Relevant skills. Ability to build professional relationships, communicate clearly, and manage competing priorities. Transferable skills from sales, customer service, account management, hospitality, or community outreach are welcome.
Preferred background. Experience in business development, healthcare outreach, or territory management is helpful. Diagnostic imaging knowledge and existing relationships with Orlando practices are preferred, not required. No minimum number of years of experience is required.
Education. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Technology. Ability to use email, spreadsheets, presentation tools, and systems for tracking outreach and relationships.
Local outreach. Ability to travel throughout the assigned Orlando territory for practice visits, meetings, and events, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
