ABOUT THIS ROLE
We’re seeking a Vice President of Influencer Marketing to lead influencer strategy across Orchestra’s Impact & Philanthropy and Public Affairs practices.
This role is designed for a senior strategist who understands how creators, celebrities, advocates, experts, community leaders and other trusted voices can shape public opinion, build credibility and inspire action.
You will set the strategic vision for influencer marketing across both practices, developing integrated programs that connect the right audiences with the right messengers, messages and moments. You will serve as a senior advisor to clients, partner closely with account teams, mentor team members and help grow Orchestra’s influencer marketing capabilities.
Role location: This role is based in our New York, N.Y. or Washington, D.C. office on a hybrid basis. Team members are expected to work in-office at least 3 days per week.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Our Impact & Philanthropy and Public Affairs teams work with organizations navigating complex issues that shape communities, industries and public conversation.
Across Impact & Philanthropy and Public Affairs, we partner with foundations, nonprofits, advocacy organizations, mission-driven institutions and clients across sectors including healthcare, technology, education, infrastructure, land use and economic development.
Together, our teams bring expertise across communications, advocacy, media relations, digital, research, creative, paid media and influence to build integrated campaigns that reach and move key audiences.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
As the Vice President, Influencer Marketing, you will…
Lead integrated creator, influencer and celebrity strategies across Public Affairs and Impact & Philanthropy, while also supporting clients across sectors such as consumer, corporate, technology and other industries as opportunities arise, building awareness, trust, engagement and action
Develop culturally relevant programs that translate complex policy, social and philanthropic issues into compelling stories that reach and resonate with priority audiences
Build ecosystems of influence across creators, advocates, experts, community leaders and cultural figures who can credibly shape conversation around key issues
Counsel senior clients on audience and messenger strategy, creator partnerships, cultural moments, reputational considerations and emerging opportunities
Lead influencer programs from strategy through execution and measurement, including talent identification, vetting, partnerships, content and amplification
Partner across Public Affairs, Impact & Philanthropy, and a range of other client verticals, including consumer, corporate, technology and other industries, collaborating with PR, digital, research, creative and paid media teams while mentoring team members and supporting new business
Essential skills:
8+ years of experience leading influencer, creator, advocacy, social impact, public affairs or integrated communications programs across a range of client sectors, including consumer, corporate, technology, healthcare and other industries
