Full-time CTO — the balanced verdict

Why this role stands out

  • Clear mandate for digital transformation and AI adoption across a multi-location, multi-unit business
  • Broad remit spanning infrastructure, data management, cybersecurity, compliance and business applications
  • Structured reporting line (to MD) and defined team leadership expectations
  • Stability of permanent role in an established mid-sized employer

Worth checking before you apply

  • Salary is entirely unquantified ('Competitive Depending on Experience'); no benchmark provided to calibrate expectations
  • On-site presence fixed (39 hours/week, primarily Mon–Thu); likely limited flexibility for fractional practitioners
  • No mention of equity, bonus structure, or benefits; total remuneration unclear
