FULL-TIME CRO JOB · INSURANCE SECTOR · CITY OF LONDON, ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM

Gallagher's Pen division (Risk Management Partners) seeks a full-time Account Director for the North/NI team to manage renewal and growth of a portfolio of public-sector and education clients. The role is explicitly full-time with standard benefits, career development and flexible working options mentioned only as accommodation (job-share, reduced hours) rather than a core model. No fractional or interim signals.
Full-time CRO — the balanced verdict
Why this role stands out
- Established MGA with 30+ years' track record; backed by Gallagher's scale and stability
- Clear portfolio and relationship ownership (Local Authorities, Police, Fire, HE)
- Explicit flexibility language — 'job-share partnership, work reduced hours, or other flexible arrangement' welcomed
- Professional development expectation (CII/ACII) and conference/event attendance budgeted
Worth checking before you apply
- Full-time commitment expected; flexibility is accommodation, not the core offer
- Regional coverage (Scotland, NI, N England) may involve travel despite remote base
- No explicit day rate or salary range stated in posting; 'competitive compensation' is vague
