Full-time Senior Growth Manager - UK to Kenya, LemFi
FULL-TIME EXEC JOB · FINANCIAL SERVICES SECTOR · UNITED KINGDOM

LemFi seeks a full-time Growth Manager to drive user acquisition across UK-Kenya diaspora communities via grassroots field marketing, community partnerships, and data-driven campaigns. The role demands 3–5 days per week traveling to UK cities and operating on the ground; this is a hands-on, early-market-entry operator role, not a fractional or interim executive appointment. Seniority is mid-level (5+ years growth/marketing/sales experience), not C-suite or head-of-function leadership.
Full-time Senior Growth Manager - UK to Kenya — the balanced verdict
Why this role stands out
- Clear, ambitious mandate in a high-growth fintech (Series B, $1B+ monthly transactions) with meaningful social impact
- Genuine ground-level execution ownership — influencer negotiation, agency management, event leadership, and direct CAC measurement
- Data-driven culture with emphasis on tracking, iteration, and KPI accountability
- Remote-friendly with structured travel cadence (3–5 days every few weeks, not always on-site)
Worth checking before you apply
- Not an executive-level role; suited to a senior individual contributor or junior manager, not a fractional C-suite placement
- Extensive travel and occasional weekends required; high operational load alongside strategy
- Narrow market focus (UK–Kenya diaspora) and specific cultural fluency needed; niche opportunity, not broad executive role

About the role
As the Growth Manager for the UK-Kenya corridor, you'll drive LemFi's expansion across East African communities in one of our most critical markets. This is a growth role that requires you to be equally comfortable traveling to key diaspora hubs to build physical community presence and managing high-leverage organic growth. You will own direct influencer negotiations, manage external agencies, partners and key community leaders, and execute grassroots field marketing. You'll spend 3 to 5 days every few weeks in a new UK city, representing LemFi at East African community events, building partnerships, rigorously tracking campaign performance and accelerating user acquisition. You're embedded in the communities we serve, acting as both a strategic thinker and a ground-level operator. You will work across paid channels, organic strategy, local agency partners, and product teams to drive massive user acquisition in this market, while serving as the internal voice of the user.
What you'll build and own
Map, infiltrate, and build genuine presence inside East African diaspora associations, WhatsApp groups, and community networks across the UK, seeding LemFi authentically and tracking what drives real sign-ups.
Travel across the UK 3 to 5 days every few weeks, establishing on-the-ground presence in new cities. Lead community-driven initiatives to build trust, awareness and advocacy for LemFi. Organize and participate in local events, meetups and forums. Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders and grassroots partners implementing tracking mechanisms to measure the exact customer acquisition cost of your offline activities.
Develop and execute comprehensive user acquisition strategies tailored to East African communities in the UK. Own growth targets for assigned markets and optimize campaigns using data and insights.
Source, negotiate directly with, and manage partnerships to accelerate user growth. Ensure partnerships deliver mutual value and measurable outcomes tied directly to user acquisition.
Conduct ongoing market research to understand user needs, behaviours and preferences. Provide actionable insights to Product and Marketing teams. Serve as the internal voice of the user, representing community perspectives in decision-making.
Own the full campaign lifecycle from concept to close: brief, execute, measure cost per acquisition and conversion to first-time transacting users, and iterate fast.
Identify new community touchpoints and partnership opportunities across the East African diaspora (Kenya, Rwanda, and broader East Africa) and bring them live quickly.
Use AI tools to accelerate your own output - drafting campaign copy, analysing performance data, and building outreach at scale - while applying your own judgement to validate every insight before acting on it.
