Nikkiso is hiring a full-time Segment Sales Manager for Northern Europe, responsible for LNG/LH2/industrial gas cryogenic equipment sales across the region. This is a traditional employed sales leadership role (5–7 years experience, EPC/Clean Energy Project Developer account management, marine technology background mandatory) with no fractional or interim elements.

01

Full-time Segment Sales Manager - Northern Europe — the balanced verdict

Why this role stands out

  • Established industrial manufacturer (Nikkiso Co Ltd, $1.5B USD revenue, Tokyo Stock Exchange listed) offers stability and genuine market presence
  • Clear regional P&L accountability and strategic account planning ownership
  • Growing sector (LNG, hydrogen, carbon capture) with expanding market opportunity
  • Defined seniority level and competency requirements signal serious candidate selection

Worth checking before you apply

  • Marine technology background is mandatory — rules out candidates strong in rotating equipment but without marine credentials
  • Full-time, 40-hour expectation with flexible hours clause ('influenced by factors such as…') suggests travel and after-hours client engagement
  • Remote-friendly but reporting/team structure not detailed; unclear if Canterbury is a team base or admin centre
