Full-time Key Account Manager for PTSG Fire Safety's FDIS division, managing existing customer relationships and hunting new business in the construction/specification market. Salary £50k, on-site in Mansland, 40 hours/week. Not an executive or fractional role—a senior individual contributor sales position.

01

Full-time Key Account Manager — the balanced verdict

Why this role stands out

  • Clear scope — account management + new business development in a defined market (fire doors, doorsets)
  • Structured employer with stability — PTSG 4,000+ employees, part of established group
  • Decent benefits — 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, life assurance, progression within group

Worth checking before you apply

  • Not fractional or interim—full-time on-site commitment required
  • Below typical executive pay (£50k basic); suited to ambitious sales professionals, not C-suite
  • Technical sector (fire-rated doorsets, building regs, ironmongery) requires domain knowledge or steep learning curve
