Full-time Operations Manager — the balanced verdict
Why this role stands out
- Established pharmaceutical employer (Takeda) with clear structure and defined reporting line
- Broad remit spanning data insights, customer engagement, L&D and business operations—strategic and multifaceted
- Salary band published transparently; competitive for senior operations leadership in life sciences
- Deep regulatory and compliance context (healthcare, GxP, facilities, supply governance) appeals to candidates with that background
Worth checking before you apply
- Full-time, on-site role in Paddington; not suitable for fractional or flexible-location candidates
- Matrixed environment across UK and Ireland with multiple functional leadership lines—requires strong influence skills and appetite for complexity
- Facilities management responsibilities (rent review, landlord relations, H&S) unusual in some operations roles; confirm comfort with that scope
