IHG is hiring a Field Marketing Services Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract, home-based in the UK with frequent travel across Europe. You'll partner with a portfolio of hotels across mainstream to luxury brands, managing their digital marketing, budgets, and performance. This is a full operational role reporting to a Senior Manager—not a fractional or interim executive position.

01

Contract Field Marketing Manager (Europe) — the balanced verdict

Why this role stands out

  • Stable 12-month contract with clear reporting line and defined portfolio scope
  • Hospitality/travel sector expertise valued; luxury brand experience a bonus
  • Hybrid working model with home base + hotel visits; flexibility on remote work
  • Direct marketing impact — you own strategy, budgets, and hotel commercial performance

Worth checking before you apply

  • Manager-level role, not executive; unlikely to suit fractional/interim portfolio candidates seeking C-suite or head-of-function positions
  • Frequent travel expectation (UK and Europe) may suit some but is operationally demanding
  • Fixed 12-month term—useful as a bridge contract, but no renewal language stated
