Full-time COO, Hilton
FULL-TIME COO JOB · HOSPITALITY SECTOR · LONDON, ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM

Hilton is hiring a permanent Director of Operations for their London Paddington hotel—a full-time, on-site executive role overseeing daily operations, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and team leadership. The £65–70k salary sits below typical London COO benchmarks, likely reflecting the property-specific (rather than group-wide) scope. This is a traditional hotel general management track role, not a fractional or interim engagement.
Full-time COO — the balanced verdict
Why this role stands out
- Genuine Hilton employer posting with named hotel location and clear accountability structures
- Comprehensive operational remit — P&L ownership, team development, strategic partnerships, quality assurance
- Established hospitality brand with structured career progression and competitive benefits (travel perks, ESPP, EAP)
Worth checking before you apply
- Salary (£65–70k) is modest for a Director of Operations title in central London hospitality; verify total comp and incentive structure
- On-site, 40-hour-per-week commitment with no flexibility signals traditional permanent role, not fractional
- No mention of interim/contract pathway or board-level strategic focus; this is property-level operational management

How well the role as written suits a fractional or interim arrangement, scored 0–100 by our automated read of the posting text before it went on the board. It rates the posting, not you — we do not score or match candidates.
