NielsenIQ is recruiting a full-time Commercial Director for Western Europe, focused on driving adoption and revenue growth of Marketing Effectiveness solutions (MMM, Matched Panel Testing, Cadence) across the region. This is a corporate sales and business development leadership role reporting to a regional leader, with revenue KPIs, proposal ownership, and internal enablement responsibilities. The salary range (£65,400–£121,100) reflects a hybrid-working, permanent position unsuitable for fractional placement unless the candidate could negotiate a part-time or portfolio arrangement off-market.

01

Full-time CRO — the balanced verdict

Why this role stands out

  • Clear commercial mandate with defined KPIs (revenue, client conversion, engagement, visibility).
  • Established enterprise software business (NielsenIQ/GfK) offering stability and resources.
  • Hybrid working flexibility; London-area role with continental Europe scope.
  • Blend of sales, thought leadership, and internal enablement appeals to experienced marketing/revenue leaders.

Worth checking before you apply

  • Full-time, permanent-track position; fractional boards should flag this as outside their core remit unless candidate proposes restructure.
  • Salary ceiling (£121,100) suggests senior commercial role but not C-suite or truly autonomous fractional scale.
  • Reporting line to a Western European Leader may constrain autonomy; not a founder-led or highly entrepreneurial setup.
