01

Full-time Brand Marketing Manager — the balanced verdict

Why this role stands out

  • Genuine global scope with multi-market coordination, appealing to someone seeking international brand exposure
  • Defined ownership of workstreams and projects with autonomy within direction—not purely support
  • Digital-first, content-led approach and emphasis on modern brand thinking align with contemporary marketing challenges
  • Strong benefits package including flexible hours, summer Fridays, career development allowance and work-from-anywhere flexibility

Worth checking before you apply

  • No salary disclosed; full-time engagement type suggests permanent salaried role rather than fractional or project-based income
  • Reporting to Head of Brand Marketing implies this is a middle-management execution layer, not a board-level or fractional executive slot
  • Hybrid/flexible working is standard UK benefit language, not a signal of fractional engagement

The Brand Marketing Manager will support the Head of Brand Marketing in building FitFlop as a modern global brand, translating brand strategy into clear plans, briefs, stories and activity across Product, Partnerships, Community, Activation, Creative and Digital. Working across global and regional teams, this role will help connect seasonal priorities, partnerships and brand initiatives, ensuring ideas move effectively from strategy through to execution across markets and channels. The role carries clear ownership for defined global brand workstreams and projects, operating with a high degree of autonomy within the direction set by the Head of Brand Marketing.

This role needs someone curious, proactive and culturally connected, with strong brand judgement and an interest in how consumers, culture and modern marketing are changing. They will bring energy and ideas as well as strong execution, contributing to an agile, digital-first and content-led approach to brand building. Alongside contributing ideas and brand thinking, this is a hands-on role with significant responsibility for turning plans into action and ensuring delivery across multiple teams, markets and workstreams. Success will come from turning direction into action, keeping work moving with pace and accountability, and helping FitFlop deliver fresh, relevant and consistent brand experiences globally.

The Responsibilities:

Global Brand Planning & Storytelling:

Support annual and seasonal brand planning and take ownership of the calendars, coordination and follow-through required to bring those plans to life.

Work across Product, Creative, Community, Digital, Activation and collab projects to turn product and brand priorities into compelling consumer stories and executable activity.

Coordinate with regional teams to ensure global direction is delivered consistently while recognising relevant local consumer and cultural opportunities.

Briefing & Creative Brand Thinking:

Develop clear and inspiring seasonal, category, market and project briefs based on the strategic direction set by the Head of Brand Marketing.

Actively contribute ideas for content, partnerships, activations and brand moments, working closely with Creative and other teams to bring them to life.

Use consumer insight and cultural awareness to help identify opportunities to engage consumers in fresh and unexpected ways.

Modern Brand & Content Delivery:

Support a digital-first, content-led approach to brand building, helping connect activity across social, digital, community, PR, retail and commercial channels.

Take accountability for keeping agreed plans, briefs and workstreams progressing against key milestones.

Coordinate delivery across teams, markets and external partnership stakeholders, maintaining clear timelines, actions and dependencies, ensuring activity moves from brief through to launch.

Brand Governance & Global Coordination:

Support the consistent application of FitFlop’s brand strategy, identity and tone across global markets and channels.

Review activity against agreed brand standards, identifying where further direction or adaptation is required.

Build strong relationships with regional teams, helping global ideas travel effectively while remaining culturally relevant.

Support the planning and delivery of internal brand initiatives, working across teams to ensure employees have clear, engaging tools and communications that help bring the brand to life.

Insight, Culture & Future Thinking:

Gather and synthesise consumer, cultural, market and competitive insight to inform planning and briefing.

Stay connected to developments in consumer culture, creativity, content, marketing and the wider brand landscape.

Bring an outward-looking and curious perspective, sharing emerging ideas, trends and opportunities with the wider team.

Partnerships & Strategic Initiatives:

Manage the day-to-day delivery of selected global brand partnerships and initiatives.

Coordinate internal teams, markets and external partners to ensure activity is integrated, on-brand and delivered effectively.

Bring a proactive, entrepreneurial and problem-solving mindset, identifying opportunities and addressing issues early.

Collaboration & Delivery

Manage agreed project budgets and resources within defined parameters, maintaining visibility of spend and ensuring activity is delivered efficiently.

Act as a strong connector across Brand, Product, Creative, Digital, Community, Activation and regional teams.

Bring energy, ideas and solutions to projects rather than simply responding to requests.

Take personal accountability for high-quality execution, maintaining momentum across multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

The Person:

Strong brand marketing experience within consumer, fashion, footwear or lifestyle brands.

Experience working in a global or multi-market environment.

Experience gained across more than one brand, bringing a broader perspective on contemporary brand building.

Good understanding of 360° marketing and how digital, content, social, community, PR, retail and commercial channels work together.

Culturally connected and curious, with a genuine interest in consumers, creativity, brands and what is happening in the wider world.

Plugged into evolving marketing, content and brand trends, with an interest in where modern brand building is heading.

Able to translate brand strategy and consumer insight into clear briefs, plans and compelling stories.

Creative and entrepreneurial in approach, willing to challenge established thinking and contribute new ideas and solutions.

Globally minded, with an understanding of how strong brand direction can remain consistent while flexing across markets and cultures.

Proactive and accountable, with strong personal drive and the confidence to take ownership of projects and move them forward.

Highly collaborative, able to build strong relationships and work effectively across functions and levels of the organisation.

Able to balance longer-term thinking with the pace, detail and agility required to deliver multiple projects effectively.

Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Highly organised, delivery-focused and comfortable moving from strategic creative conversations into the detail to make work happen
