GIG Retail seeks a Product Marketing Manager (£29.4–£35k annual, full-time permanent, hybrid Leeds) to create sales collateral, event support and B2B comms for retail media networks. The role blends tactical execution (rate-cards, pitch decks, templates) with strategic mid-to-long-term positioning; fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment. Not a fractional or interim opening.

Not explicitly fractional

Curious · inferredThis posting is not explicitly advertised as fractional. We've inferred it may suit a fractional arrangement — treat the pitch below as a strategy, not a confirmed opening.

How to pitch the fractional angle

The employer advertised a conventional role, but the signals below suggest the work could be done on a fractional or interim basis. Here's how to open that conversation.

  • SIGNALHybrid policy and '3 days from home, 2 in office' phrasing could support part-time negotiation, but posting explicitly states 'Full Time, Permanent'
  • SIGNALEmphasis on 'agility' and 'fast-paced' suggests continuous availability rather than fractional engagement

Suggested pitch angle

If candidate is portfolio-active, could explore whether GIG would negotiate 3 days/week (e.g. Tues–Thurs in Leeds, async email support Mon/Fri) to backfill with a part-time peer; salary would need pro-rata negotiation. However, listing's tone and 35 hrs/week baseline make this a long shot without explicit interim/fractional signal from GIG first.
