Temporary Marketing Manager UKI/SA, Chubb
TEMPORARY EXEC JOB · INSURANCE SECTOR · CITY OF LONDON, ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM

Chubb is hiring a full-time Marketing Manager for a 12-month fixed contract within its UK & Ireland team. The role is mid-level (part of a 5-person team), hands-on, and focused on campaign execution rather than fractional leadership. Not suited for Fractional Quest unless the candidate proposes a part-time arrangement that Chubb might accept.
Temporary Marketing Manager UKI/SA — the balanced verdict
Why this role stands out
- Established global insurance employer with structured marketing infrastructure
- Exposure to EMEA and global teams; real P&L involvement
- Clear scope — campaigns, events, brand consistency, agency management
- 12-month fixed term allows exit planning without permanent commitment
Worth checking before you apply
- On-site, London-based; full-time hours (40/week) with no flexibility signalled
- Mid-level individual-contributor role, not executive leadership
- Insurance sector-specific knowledge preferred; wider FSI background acceptable but less ideal

This is an exciting 12-month fixed term opportunity to join Chubb's UK and
Ireland Marketing and Communications team as a Marketing Manager. In this role,
you will lead the development and delivery of integrated marketing and
communications campaigns across a broad mix of channels — from digital and
social to events and sales enablement — targeting broker, customer and internal
audiences.
Chubb operates eleven offices across the UK and one in Ireland, serving high net
worth individuals with motor, home and valuables insurance, as well as middle
market and large corporate clients with property, casualty, accident and health
insurance, risk engineering and multinational servicing propositions.
This role sits within a team of five marketers and connects you to a wider EMEA
Marketing and Communications community of around 35 colleagues, plus global
expertise from Chubb's North American team. You will contribute directly to the
annual UKI marketing plan, working closely with product and segment owners
across the business to deliver campaigns that support growth, retention and
brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the business areas you support;
- develop up-to-date knowledge of customer and broker issues, market trends and
- competitor activity.
- Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns targeting specific
- segments, with the aim of acquiring and retaining business — from planning
- and production through to implementation, ensuring adherence to brand
- guidelines, legal and compliance requirements, and budget management.
- Track, measure and evaluate campaigns; collect and use data to inform future
- activity and deliver regular reports on campaign results and KPIs.
- Write, edit and proofread compelling copy across all channels — email,
- website, social media, events, promotional materials and thought leadership
- content; on occasion, support sales teams with major tender responses.
- Localise and implement global and regional marketing campaigns for the UK and
- Ireland markets, in collaboration with EMEA and global marketing teams.
- Plan and manage industry trade shows, sponsored events and Chubb flagship
- events from end to end.
- Brief and manage internal and external agencies to deliver campaigns on time,
- to quality and within budget.
- Contribute to the development of the annual UKI marketing plan and budget.
