Full-time Chief of Staff — the balanced verdict
Why this role stands out
- Stable, established employer (Brightwell Group, 51–200 staff, founded 2002); strong client roster (BP, Legal & General, Rolls-Royce).
- Genuinely senior remit — CEO/COO partnership, Board governance, cross-functional strategy, P&L literacy, team leadership.
- Comprehensive benefits — 25–28 days holiday, PMI, pension, EAP, car scheme; inclusive hiring tone.
- Clear, well-written JD with honest seniority and scope; high-visibility executive office role.
Worth checking before you apply
- Full-time, on-site requirement rules out fractional or portfolio arrangements.
- Hybrid H&S/facilities + executive office split may diffuse focus; ensure clarity on priority if workload spikes.
- Salary (£65–80k) is solid for Chief of Staff but modest if candidate has scaled P&L or Board experience; confirm career trajectory fit.
