Full-time SDR, Teya
FULL-TIME SDR JOB · FINANCIAL SERVICES SECTOR · LONDON, ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM

Teya is hiring a junior Business Development Representative in the Midlands — a full-time, field-based sales role targeting business owners. This is an entry-level sales track, not an executive or fractional engagement. The role is open to candidates without sales experience who show hunger and coachability; typical first-year OTE is £50k (basic plus commission).
Full-time SDR — the balanced verdict
Why this role stands out
- Direct employer, well-resourced fintech (1,001–5,000 staff)
- Structured onboarding and hands-on coaching promised
- Clear value proposition (supporting local businesses) and team ethos
- Explicit welcome to career-changers and non-traditional backgrounds
Worth checking before you apply
- Entry-level BDR role, not suited to fractional board-level search
- Commission-heavy earnings structure — actual income depends on quota attainment
- Field-based, Midlands-located requirement is rigid

Hello. We’re Teya.
Teya was founded on a simple belief: local businesses deserve better.
They are the cafés, restaurants, salons, shops and entrepreneurs that bring character to our high streets, create jobs and keep communities moving. Yet for too long, financial services has made life harder for them - with clunky tools, poor support and complexity that gets in the way of running a business.
Teya exists to change that.
We’re building a financial platform for local businesses across Europe - one built around simple tools, thoughtful design and real human support. Our Members rely on us to help them run their business with confidence, and that responsibility shapes the way we work.
We move fast. We care about quality. We stay close to the detail. And we believe great performance and genuine hospitality should go hand in hand.

Meet business owners to understand their needs, challenges and goals, and recommend relevant Teya products and solutions.

A competitive mindset and a genuine desire to win
