What happens next.
Day 0 — Brief intake
You complete the brief: role, stage (revenue / funding), sector, scope (the mandate, not just the title), days-per-week, IR35 preference, timing, day-rate band.
Takes 15 minutes.
We may ask one or two clarifying questions same-day if the brief leaves an ambiguity.
Days 1–2 — Vetting
We run the five-stage vetting process (see /vetting) — qualification screen, mandate fit, reference deep-dive on each candidate.
Median time to shortlist: 48 hours from brief intake.
Day 2 — Shortlist delivered
3–5 vetted candidates land in your inbox.
Each profile includes: rate percentile (where they sit in the UK band), fit analysis against your brief, IR35 structure with CEST result, recent reference summaries, and a 30-second positioning note.
Days 3–7 — Meetings
You meet the candidates directly.
We don't sit in interviews — that's your call.
We do help with scope questions or rate negotiation if useful.
Week 2 — Engagement
Once you sign, the contract is outside IR35 by default, the SOW is scoped to your mandate, and the first board pack / executive review is on the calendar.
The 12% vetting fee triggers on engagement signing.
