Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Armed CPO Patrol Accountability in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including banking offices, entrances, parking areas, ATM locations, and the business perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Maintain required firearms qualifications and carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, site policies, and Allied Universal procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
CPO certification is required.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
