Cash funding and investor relationships
Own cash forecasting and liquidity planning, maintaining an integrated model of short- and medium-term cash needs and longer-term funding requirements.
Improve working capital through effective debtor, creditor and inventory management, balancing cash discipline with customer and supplier relationships.
Lead the finance workstream for equity fundraising and engagement with potential investors, including private equity firms, in collaboration with the CEO and external advisers.
Prepare credible financial models, investor information and due diligence materials; maintain strong relationships with investors, banks, funders and other key stakeholders.

Maintain proportionate financial controls, approval limits, reconciliations and reporting processes that support growth and protect company assets.
Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including payables, receivables, treasury and payroll-related financial controls, with appropriate delegation.
Coordinate statutory reporting, tax compliance, year-end work and audit requirements where applicable, using external advisers effectively.

Improve finance systems, data quality and processes, reducing manual work and ensuring reporting and models remain accurate and maintainable.
