Job Overview
We’re looking for a commercially focused Specialist Business Development Manager to identify new opportunities, grow our customer base and increase business across strategically important accounts.
This is a high-impact role for an experienced sales professional who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. You’ll take ownership of a defined territory, developing and delivering targeted sales strategies that generate new business, increase the number of transacting customers and grow our share of existing customer spend.
Working closely with Area Sales and Operations, Concept Account Management, Key Accounts and Specialist Sales teams, you’ll bring colleagues together around shared commercial goals. You’ll identify what customers need, create tailored solutions that differentiate the LKQ proposition and build sustainable, long-term relationships.

- Key Responsibilities
Using Commercial Excellence principles, you’ll develop and execute targeted sales strategies designed to deliver profitable customer growth. You’ll maintain a strong understanding of your market, including emerging industry trends, competitor activity and garage scheme propositions, using this insight alongside customer and sales data to make informed commercial decisions.
You’ll be accountable for agreed KPIs, with a particular focus on winning new business, increasing transacting customer numbers and securing a greater share of customer spend. You’ll also work across multiple sales channels to ensure a consistent, joined-up approach for customers.
As an experienced and credible sales leader, you’ll coach colleagues and role-model best-practice sales behaviours, helping to strengthen capability and embed high-performance standards across the wider sales team.
