About This Role
Our client is embarking on a major technology transformation programme and requires an experienced Contract CTO to guide them. The successful candidate will be instrumental in integrating multiple legacy systems, modernising the internal technology landscape, and launching innovative customer-facing digital products, including a new SaaS platform.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future technology direction of the company and drive significant commercial growth. The Contract CTO will define the technology roadmap, drive delivery, and ensure the transformation is executed swiftly and delivers measurable outcomes to maximise ROI.
A fractional engagement will be considered for the right candidate. They may also consider someone for a part-time CTO role.
Key Responsibilities
- 1Define and implement a digital and data architecture strategy aligned to business goals.
- 2Lead internal digital modernisation and integration programme across software, data, and infrastructure.
- 3Establish a cohesive IT and digital operating model that supports future scale.
- 4Oversee delivery of internal systems upgrades, data integration and the build of new customer-facing products, including a SaaS platform leveraging the organisation's existing data assets.
- 5Provide a roadmap and technical leadership to a multi-disciplinary team.
- 6Partner closely with the CEO and non-technical stakeholders to articulate ROI, shape strategic decisions, and ensure initiatives deliver clear commercial outcomes.
