About This Role
A dynamic start-up Fund Manager is seeking a highly experienced Fractional MLRO to play a critical role in securing their Small AIFM license. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing firm at a pivotal moment and shape its future compliance landscape.
The initial contract is projected for 3-6 months, offering an attractive outside IR35 day rate. While the role is primarily remote, occasional in-person meetings with the Partners in London will be required, fostering a collaborative environment and a chance to contribute to the firm's strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities
- 1Oversee and manage the firm's anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) framework.
- 2Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- 3Develop and implement robust AML/CTF policies and procedures.
- 4Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential money laundering and terrorist financing risks.
- 5Provide training and guidance to staff on AML/CTF compliance.
